MobileMoni is a service that allows you to use your mobile phone as an electronic wallet. It is the easiest way to send or receive money between friends and family in PNG.You can also use yourMobileMoni account to purchase groceries items and make utility payments.

Almost anyone who has a mobile phone can have a mobile money account. It’s so accessible, which makes it extremely useful in more remote parts of the country, where there aren’t any banks. Here are its other benefits:

Multi-faceted – there’s so much users can do with a mobile money account. They can receive, store, spend and send money all from the account on your mobile phone.

Direct – users can receive money directly to their mobile phones without going through any middlemen.

Fast – users can receive, send and spend money instantly.

Convenient – mobile money accounts are always to hand as they sit on users’ mobile phones, Mobile money can be used anywhere there’s a mobile phone signal.

Secure - funds held in a mobile money account are protected by local financial regulations. Users’ identity must be checked - making it hard for fraudsters and criminals to use these services illegally.

Here are some things you can do when you become a MobileMoni customer.

Cash in/Cash Out–

You can deposit money into a MobileMoni account. This is called cash in. You can also withdraw or cash out money. Cash in/Cash Out is done at the authorized agents office.

Airtime Top up –

You can top up your phone credits using your MobileMoni account

Bill Payment –

You can pay for utilities such as water bills, airlines tickets etc using your MobileMoni account

Merchant Payment –

You can pay for goods and services at a merchant store using your MobileMoni account

Bulk Payment –

You can do one-to-many transfers such as salary disbursal is a bulk payment.

Mobilemoni works on all types of mobile phone; from the most basic phone to smart phones

You can join MobileMoni as a MobileMoni customer and/or as a MobileMoni agent.

You will need to have a registered mobile number. Visit your nearest MobileMoni agent to register for your MobileMoni account. If your sim card not registered, go to your nearest mobile service center and have your sim card registered. You have to just pay K20 one time registration Fee and you can start using the MobileMoni wallet.

Registration is paperless. All you need to provide is your phone number, basic personal details and your fingerprint as your security PIN. Photo Identification card is not mandatory.

To send money in cash form, visit your nearest MobileMoni agent pay the agent the required amount eg K100 + transaction fee eg K4. The agent will top-up your wallet with K100.

If you have money in your MobileMoni wallet, you can do instant cash transfer to another MobileMoni customer.

When a MobileMoni customer sends money to your account, you will get a text message notification on your mobile phone. You can cash out the money at your nearest MobileMoni Agent. If you have received for eg K100, you will get K96 and K4 will be kept as the transaction fee.

If you want to send money to a MobileMoni customer using cash, you must visit your nearest MobileMoni agent.

MobileMoni charges 4% fee on all monies sent and received. The same fee applies, regardless of the total amounts sent and received.

Yes. You can use your MobileMoni card to purchase goods and services with our retail partner stores. To know the list of our Retail partners near you, please click here or call our customer service number.

If your phone having your MobileMoni account is lost or stolen, please contact our Customer Service Center at 74402775 / 76022858 as soon as possible. We will deactivate account. To reactivate your account visit your nearest Agent, use your finger print and give your new Phone number at no extra cost.

You will not lose the monies in your MobileMoni wallet. MobileMoni uses customer’s fingerprint as the security PIN therefore making your monies secure in your mobile wallet.

You will receive a text message from your MobileMoni informing you that that money has been taken out of their account. We will also confirm to you that your payment is successful.
